Too Perfect

“Sometimes sorry doesn’t cut it.” I think most of us have all heard that at least once in our life usually in a tone of exhaustion and frustration; most of the time it is over something benign. I still can’t believe that a certain professional athlete is even bothering to give an apology that he obviously doesn’t mean (seriously he looked like a robot reading it and someone else wrote it). I still can’t believe that anyone cares, but they do. He was just too perfect, handsome, incredibly talented, well dressed, polite and clean. You never heard about him doing anything bad, until this. Of course it blew up in his face but then again he didn’t have much of a choice, he had to dwell in a very white world and he couldn’t scare and intimidate them especially since he was so good at something there were known for, so he became faultless and he was good at it. They and we loved him for it and he got put on the pedestal that we as a society love to put people on and he finally fell like they always do.
Like all lottery winners he didn’t think of the dark side of winning and there is one and because it is a slow news time the whole thing has grown and grown, oh how I wish there was some kind of chemo for things like this that get out of control. It is none of our business what he does, or who he does all of this is between him and his wife. The mistresses are dumb and what do they expect; not to mention that getting involved with someone so famous and powerful comes with its own price, “Be careful what you ask for you might get it.” Maybe instead of asking for $ and apologizes they should go away so they don’t look anymore pathetic than they already do, since the guy does have kids and he should direct his money and energy to them and no one else.
If you as a person look up to athletes, actors or any other famous person you are screwed up. These people don’t do shit but play pretend or throw a ball around. They aren’t heroes, they are over paid clowns who perform for our enjoyment. I really hope the news will get back to real world news, since people die every day in vain for a lot of serious things and a bunch of skanky idiots and a guy who is all too human aren’t history breaking and are only good for an episode of cheaters.
